Filed under: Commentary — Peter Hebert @ 12:46 AM

This LIVE, two hour segment of On the Money with Peter Hebert focuses on Standard & Poor’s downgrade of U.S. debt from AAA to AA+ along with the implications. Should U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner be asked to resign? Under his watch, U.S. debt issuances for the first time have suffered an impairment in perceived risk. Mr. Geithner, moreover, is the trustee and fiduciary of Social Security, which Americans have funded, and he proposed cutting Social Security to help balance the budget. Pre recorded guest appearances with economists Dr. David Olson and London’s Simon Dixon will be included.
